Activities carried out:

1.Research; where was the water kiosk most needed? It became Banda zone 3.

2.Having one first meeting with the Red Cross to find ways of working together as they also want to build our next water kiosk via e-mail.

3.13 water meters are protected, with walls and metallic Covers, to lock.Thanks to the sponsership of Kidogo.

4.Water kiosks are repaired, doors, floors roofs.Thanks to the sponsership of Kidogo.

5.Four meetings with the community, to explain about the new water kiosk, contribution from the community needed, how to maintain water vendor needed etc.

6.Build a water kiosk in B.3, thanks to the sponsership of Kidogo.

7.Collection of water proceeds

8.Supervision of water flow systems and vendors performance

9.Payments of water bills

Problems:

1.We did not succeed in paint of all water kiosks, as we did not have a enough budget and we found difficulties with mobilizing the community to contribute themselves.

2.Also, there are no logos of BCDP on the water kiosks and information posters, about how to use safe water. This was no achieved because the water kiosks needed to be painted first.

3.Often breakdown of water flow.

4. Many latrines are filled up and this causes cholera and other diseases.

Way forward:

1.Improve on the materials for repair

2. There is great need for 100 latrines in a very short time
