Publicity Department:

Activities carried out:

 1.We set up two signposts along the main road and two signposts in front of BCDP, It identifies where each department is located, thanks to the sponsership of Kidogo.

2.We had a charity walk, around 300 attendents, through all the zones in Banda, a programme with many entertainment, activities and publicity partners, radio, TV, papers and the county Director of Goal Ireland, Mark Adams attended as the special guest.Thanks to the sponsership of Kidogo.

3.We have been giving out publicity papers for the Education department at Kyambogo University on a regular basis.

4.There has been a meeting between the project coordinator and Mark Adams to find ways how we could work together.

5.Letters for sub committee, staff, executive, general assemble meetings where supplied.

6.Several times, BCDP staff has put on their BCDP T-shirts.

Problems:

1.There is a problem of transport, for the volunteer who has to deliver all the letters.

2.Some members do not get their letters because they are not at home.

3.The BCDP staff members often forget putting on their T-shirts.

Way Forward;

1.Repair the bike.

2.Teach the member who has to deliver the letters whom to ride the bike.

3.Using more often e-mail as a way of communication instead of the personal letters.

4.Building a website for BCDP

5.The water kiosks need to get labels with the BCDP log.
